Story
Meet our sweet Nala!! she is a very calm puppy, and loves to laid down on and play with her toys. There were 7 total, 1 male Roger; they are gorgeous of mixed breeds such as : Bassett Hound, Labrador Retriever, Cattle, Beagle - as dogs can have 7 different fathers. There are almost 5 months old now. Mama Mika is for adoption as well - however, she is a special needs dog. She was so abused that they damaged her eye and she lost it. Therefore, we had to perform surgery on her eye and removed to prevent future infections. She is very shy and so afraid of people. It will take that special angel who will have the patience with her to make her blossom again. She is coming along every day, and getting better but very slowly. She used to run from us - we left the food for her to eat and walk away. When we rescued her, she used to stuffed her mouth with food and run to the her puppies to throw up so they can eat. This is the situation when we found them up on a land-field hill sleeping inside tubes; they were about 2 months old and not getting enough food from mama so she will do this and throw up so they will eat. They had never seen people before, the poor little things were so scared. Now they are gorgeous beautiful healthy puppies waiting for their forever home. Mika is a wonderful mama who cared for the 7 of them - she is the example as how animals are just so wonderful in all ways -:) They have received all their 3 main core puppy vaccinations, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. Please open your home and hearts to these bundle of cuties:) Are you ready to give them a forever home? Story
Meet our sweet & Smart puppy Milo at our adoption event on Saturday 01/28/23 from 3:30 to 6 pm at Petsmart: 877 E H St, Chula Vista, CA 91910 Please text Veronica at 619-576-0747 for more information on future events as locations changes often. Hi!!!! My name is Milo, nice to meet you. I am a 5 month Labrador Mix. I was found in a box outside a house along with my other siblings on a hot day, unfortunately a couple of them did not make it. I currently stay with my foster mom. She’s been teaching me a few tricks, such as sit, down, paw and high five. I’ve made it a little easier for my mom, as I’m already crate and potty trained. I enjoy getting cuddles and playing fetch, although I won’t actually bring back the toy, but it’s still fun! My ideal home would be somewhere I continue to get basic training. Sudden noises startle me, so positive reassurance will be great! New humans, including little ones and dogs make me a little nervous, a slow introduction would be the way to go. I haven’t met cats yet, so I’m not sure if I would be okay with them. Plenty of play time and brain games to keep me happy. Last but not least, a lot of love and care. I’m excited to meet you! I may look bigger in the pictures that what I am. I am still a puppy and will be medium size not large Thank you, Milo 🐾 Are you ready to give him a forever home? Story
FOREVER FOSTER WANTED! We just learned that little Kiki's biopsy came back positive for hemangiosarcoma. She is an IG mix with possible chihuahua which we believe explains the prognosis. She is happy as can be, great with other dogs, and is living life to the fullest. She doesnt currently have any obvious medical issues related to her new diagnosis but we know that is something that could change in the future. As a FOREVER FOSTER for Lionel's Legacy we ask that you provide a warm and loving home while we provide all necessary and approved food, supplies, medication, and medical care as long as you live in and around the San Diego and Orange County area and use our approved vets.Fill out an adoption application directly on our website at www.lionelslegacy.org
