Story
'Butler' Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua X- male- 2 yrs oldThis is Butler. He is an 2-year-old dog who we think may be a small mixed breed dog. (Italian Greyhound X)This little guy was adopted but was having issues walking so we took him back to get his surgery. As you can see from his videos, that was a long process and he was away from his family for an extended period. Unfortunately, his family has had some unforeseen circumstances and they are unable to take him back. They are heartbroken. Our director has seen thousands of dogs and says his personality is so rare. He's just perfect! He's sweet, gentle and playful. He doesn't have any issues at all. He is great with all sizes of dogs, kids, men and women. She said there is nothing wrong with this dog except the hardships he has been through with his legs. His surgery was a complete success. As you can see from the videosOur adoption fee through our rescue covers the dog being fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered, dewormed and flea treated. Story
Meet Buddy! Buddy originally came to us from Animal Friends of the Valley in September 2020. He spent several months in a foster home waiting for his forever family, and for his patience, he earned a set of understanding parents who would give him time to adapt to his new surroundings and learn what a chill, loyal boy he is. For three years, they were a happy, loving family, always together. Sadly, Buddy's dad recently passed away, and his mom was unable to care for him on her own. Now 15 years old, Buddy is again looking for a loving home to spend his golden years. Might it be you? Fortunately, Buddy's former foster mom scooped him up to provide comfort and familiarity after his recent losses. She shared this update: "My Buddy, as I call him, is doing so well. He’s been here about 2 1/2 weeks and being blind, he had to learn to get in/out of the house which he has accomplished. After finding himself back at FFF after his Dad passed, he paced and circled almost frantically at times at the start of our Fling. Now he is very calmly moving around and also enjoys being held. No barking or separation anxiety. Buddy needs a patient family to help him acclimate and where he'll be loved and cared for the rest of his life." Please check back for the next update on Buddy! To give Buddy a soft place to land after losing his family, please fill out our placement  questionnaire: www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/apply Learn more about our programs at:  www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/family  No adoption fees, and we offer free veterinary care on-site at FFF Veterinary Hospital for the life-time of our Frosted Faces.
