Story
'Goose' Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua -male, 3-4 yrs old, 12 lbsMeet Goose!Goose is a 3-4 year-old Chihuahua/Greyhound mix (possibly with a touch of Terrier) weighing about 12 pounds. This little guy is incredibly sweet, super friendly, and full of love. He’s great with other dogs, loves to play, and is a total cuddle bug who just wants to be near his people. Goose has wonderful manners and no bad habits that we’ve seen. With his short, wiry coat, he doesn’t shed much, making him easy to care for. He’d thrive in a home where he gets plenty of attention, affection, and maybe a playful dog buddy to hang out with. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your days with love, Goose is your guy!Our adoption fee covers our dogs being spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinations and dewormed. and flea treated. please contact us or go to www.openarmsrescue.org and fill out the online application 760-470-7643Our adoption fee through our rescue covers the dog being fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered, dewormed and flea treated. Story
Meet June! She is a very active and affectionate dog, she loves to go for a walk on a leash and discover new places, she is usually invaded when she meets a new dog, and she jumps on people with tremendous joy, she is very sociable and obedient, but when she plays she usually behaves like puppy, he loves balls, cloth toys, rope toys, and he really likes to play with puppies. She was abandoned the day she had her 12 puppies, the "owner" went to throw the babies on the hill while June desperately looked for them where she thought her home was, the person who asked us for support to give her shelter and care told us that She went for her puppies, and they were in a box, under the sun, and there were 4 dead puppies in a bag, together with her 8 brothers, the girl took them down to her house so that June was with them, but when we arrived by they only had 5 puppies alive since he brought them back up the hill. June is currently healthy, happy, and chubby. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. Story
Meet Pirulin! This Whippet and Hound mix is expected to be medium-sized when fully grown&#194&#151but don't let that fool you, he's got a big personality and an even bigger heart. Pirulin is a bit of a shy guy at first but warms up, especially if there are treats and another dog for him to make friends with. Once he's comfortable, he is a bundle of energy who lives for playtime&#194&#151whether it's chasing toys, romping with his foster dog siblings, or zooming around the yard, he's always ready for fun. He's also incredibly sweet and affectionate with his known people, always happy to snuggle up after a good play session. Pirulin is ok with kids he's met out and about but doesn't live with any kids right now and he's not a go-to-everywhere kind of guy but he's made a lot of progress in his foster home with socialization and training. He is great with other dogs and would do well in a home a dog sibling to play and learn from. He is eager to please and has mastered house training and sleeping in his crate. Pirulin is a joyful companion who will bring nonstop smiles to his future forever family! Pirulin is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Pirulin, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue.
