Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee. This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, May 3rd from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Adoption Fee: $600   Toast is a 2 year old Italian Greyhound mix who is ready to pop out of the toaster and spring right into your arms! Toast was rescued from the shelter with her two topping puppies and she settled right into her foster home for some brunch! Now that her puppies are ready to head off on their next adventures, this gal is ready to serve up some cuteness with her forever people! Toast is a petite gal who has a face as unique as her personality. If you’ve been looking to discover a new kind of bread at the local market, look no further than our gal, Toast!  If you’re looking for a warm, snuggly, and devoted companion, then you’re in for a real treat—because Toast is as golden as they come! This sweet and mellow gal is the perfect mix of buttery softness and crispy confidence. She’s a relaxed, affectionate dog who loves to lounge, but don’t let her calm demeanor fool you— she’s also ready to shower you in love and affection from the moment the toaster pops in the morning!  Toast starts her mornings sunny-side up, waking up bright and early at 6 AM for a quick potty break before heading back to her pups, who are always eager to start the day. While they get their morning zoomies out, Toast prefers to take it slow—watching over them with the patience of a seasoned mom while we reset their playpen. After some light morning supervision, she enjoys a well-earned nap (because, let’s be real, raising puppies is toastally exhausting). Throughout the day, she balances her love for relaxation with short bursts of energy, always keeping an eye on her babies. She doesn’t go on too many walks since her little ones miss her too much, but when she does, she’s all about exploring—sniffing everything, barking at anything that moves, and always keeping an eye out for any sneaky squirrels that might need a good chase! Now, let’s talk about Toast’s flavorful personality! She’s a lounger at heart and would rather snuggle up than run around all day, but she’s got just enough spice to make things interesting. She’s a little wary of other dogs, preferring to be the main dish in the household, but with humans, she’s nothing but sweet. She’ll happily cuddle up, especially if it means getting belly rubs or sneaking a treat (she’ll do anything for a treat!). She’s already fully house-trained and well-behaved indoors—no need to worry about messy accidents! Toast loves her snacks so she’s also super easy to teach new tricks! She will be the star of any breakfast table in no time!  Toast is looking for a home where she can be the star of the breakfast table—somewhere she’ll get all the love and attention she deserves. She’d do best in a home where her humans are ready to shower her with affection from the moment she trots into the room and steals your heart. She needs a family with the patience to help her continue to feel safe and secure, someone who appreciates a loyal, relaxed, and loving companion. If you’re looking for a pup who will butter you up with cuddles and companionship, Toast is your girl!    May 2, 2025, 4:51 am

If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Hercules – Tiny Name, Mighty Heart  8 week old Italian Greyhound x Beagle mix Small in size, huge in confidence — ready to take on your couch, your lap, and your heart. Don’t let the name fool you—Hercules isn’t out here wrestling lions (yet), but he is conquering hearts left and right. This pint-sized hero may be small, but he’s got the confidence of a much bigger pup. Raised in foster care since just 4 weeks old, Hercules has grown into a playful, curious, and delightfully independent little guy. Whether he’s tossing toys, exploring his pen like it’s uncharted territory, or charming you with those soulful eyes, Hercules is always on a mission: to be the best puppy ever. He’s on a solid routine with three meals a day (9 AM, 2 PM, 7 PM) and has already started mastering the art of potty training. He mostly uses pee pads in his pen and is picking up quickly with consistency and supervision—what a smart cookie! At night, he sleeps soundly in his pen without a peep. That’s right: a good night’s sleep for you, and for your future sidekick. Hercules has had positive interactions with other dogs in his early days and would do well joining a home with a friendly canine companion—or he’d be perfectly content flying solo as the star of the show. He’s also cat-friendly and could happily coexist with feline roommates. At his current foster home, the resident dogs aren’t super playful, so while he hasn’t had recent puppy playdates, he’s well-socialized and ready to mingle. If you're looking for a puppy who's already ahead of the curve—affectionate, sharp, brave, and ready to bond—Hercules is your guy. With a little love and continued guidance, this little legend is going to grow into an incredibly loyal companion. Adopt Hercules, and let the adventure begin. May 10, 2025, 11:39 am
