For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Story
Meet Obi, a small, playful puppy who’s learning about the world. He loves playing with people and is always up for a good game with his favorite toys. Obi has a nice amount of puppy energy, but a solid round of play will do the trick. Obi enjoys playing with other dogs of all sizes, but his true passion is playing with people, especially a good round of wrestling. He can be a little shy or cautious in new situations — not because he’s scared, but because he’s still learning that the world is a safe and exciting place. He has already grown so much confidence since being in his foster home. His ideal family will be calm, patient, and encouraging, giving him time and praise as he builds the courage to take on new adventures. Obi is working on crate training, he settles in nicely at bedtime, but he is working through daytime crating while his foster is away from home. Obi made great progress with potty training, and his foster reports that he is fully potty trained now.
