Story
Meet Miley! Sweet Miley is a 5 year old sweetheart, around 18 lbs. Such a beautiful girl with pretty lining around her eyes.  Miley is a very affectionate, loving dog. She loves to snuggle with you on the couch and go for walks (great on leash) and is happy to be in her crate at night. If you are looking for the best snuggler, Miley is your girl. She is a leaner and will drape herself in your lap. Miley is a very gentle and meek sweetheart. She can be a little timid with new people and new dogs but she only needs a moment to get over that. She was rescued from the streets of Mexico years ago and can still display a little hesitation at times in new situations. Miley is a sweet girl but is inconsistent with her potty training. She will mainly go outside but at times will have an accident inside.  Miley is good with other dogs, with proper introduction. She is best in a home without cats.  Miley is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Pepper is an easy going old soul estimated to be 16 years old, but he moves well and enjoys his walks like a much younger dog. He’s very sweet and would love nothing more than to nap in a cozy warm bed or on the lap of someone he loves. He`s quiet (doesn’t bark while home alone), gets along great with other dogs (currently lives with 3 other dogs in foster care), and sleeps easily throughout the night. He is 100% house trained and walks great on a leash with zero reactivity while passing other dogs. He would do well in a home or an apartment, as long as his person isn’t gone all day long.Pepper is the perfect companion for someone looking for a chill, gentle, and loving dog as they work from home, or for someone who wants a cuddle buddy while watching TV on the couch. Added bonus, since Pepper has no teeth, his adorable tongue hangs out of his mouth for a good chunk of the day!The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🔥🐾 Meet Flint — The Spark You Didn’t Know Your Life Was Missing 🐾🔥 Flint has been waiting WAY too long, and frankly, it’s starting to feel like a crime against joy. At about 1 year old and 18 pounds, this guy is the perfect fun-sized firecracker — compact, portable, and absolutely bursting with personality. Flint isn’t just cute… he’s charismatic. He’s got that goofy, infectious smile that makes strangers stop mid-sentence and say, “Okay but WHAT is he?” His dark gray coat with warm tan markings only adds to his main-character energy. If Flint walked into a room with theme music, no one would question it. This boy is still very much in his puppy era, which means: • Play hard • Love harder • Nap dramatically • Repeat He turns toys into comedy routines, walks into adventures, and cuddle time into a full-contact sport. He’s playful, affectionate, curious, and just the right amount of ridiculous. One minute he’s zooming, the next he’s flopped beside you like, “That was a lot. I need a hug.” 🐕 Why Flint Is a Total Show-Stealer: 🔥 ~1 year old, 18 lbs — perfectly snack-sized 🔥 Happy, social, and wildly entertaining 🔥 Great with other dogs and loves having buddies 🔥 Cats unknown, but slow intros may work 🔥 Silly expressions, wiggle-butt moments, and nonstop tail wags included 🔥 Professional mood-lifter (certification pending) Flint has that special magic where normal days suddenly feel fun again. Laundry? Audience. Errands? Adventure. Sitting on the couch? Best moment of his life — as long as he’s touching you. ✨ Flint is young, joyful, and ready to LIVE — he just needs someone to say “yes.” If you’re looking for laughter, love, and a little spark of chaos wrapped in a very good boy… 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Flint ignite his forever home. 🐾🔥💛
