Story
Meet Miley! Sweet Miley is a 5 year old sweetheart, around 18 lbs. Such a beautiful girl with pretty lining around her eyes.  Miley is a very affectionate, loving dog. She loves to snuggle with you on the couch and go for walks (great on leash) and is happy to be in her crate at night. If you are looking for the best snuggler, Miley is your girl. She is a leaner and will drape herself in your lap. Miley is a very gentle and meek sweetheart. She can be a little timid with new people and new dogs but she only needs a moment to get over that. She was rescued from the streets of Mexico years ago and can still display a little hesitation at times in new situations. Miley is a sweet girl but is inconsistent with her potty training. She will mainly go outside but at times will have an accident inside.  Miley is good with other dogs, with proper introduction. She is best in a home without cats.  Miley is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Minister of Defense is a greyhound puppy. He's is a little skiddish. He loves to be held, however picking him up can scare him a bit. He loves it once he is being held. He loves playing and running around, however he gets a little nervous being far away from his brother or another human. He is very alert and fun to watch and snuggle. He sleeps in a crate. He’s starting to understand potty pads, He’s anxious, but so sweet. He’s good with other dogs -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Born in 2016, Andy is full energy and goofiness! He is looking for a forever home that will support his need for walks, adventures and some nice couch potato time at the end of the day. He’s a dream inside, get comfy with him and his favorite soft toys for some relaxation time. Andy’s requirements are a fenced yard, the only dog in his home, and no cats or other animals. Andy needs someone with knowledge of the breeds that understands that he is not the kind of dog to take to dog parks or in social situations with many strangers. He loves his people whole-heartedly, but it does take a bit of effort to become one of "his people."  Andy has had some great training too, making it a lot of fun to work with him and teach him new tricks and games. He’s totally invested in this type of stuff, and he thinks it’s great because he gets to problem solve and spend quality time with you.   Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) November 10, 2025, 7:38 pm
