If interested in meeting this kitty, Please apply at: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TPW/Cat Simon & Oliver — Brothers, Best Friends, and the Perfect Pair 🐾 These two sweet brothers have been together through everything, and watching them play is pure entertainment. One minute they’re batting toys around side-by-side, the next they’re full-on roughhousing like typical little boys — all in good fun, all in brotherly love. 💙 Simon is the quiet observer, the thoughtful one who watches before he pounces. Oliver is the more adventurous spirit, ready to explore first and ask questions later. But here’s the part that melts us every time: both of them are total cuddle bugs. After the play session fades, they curl right up for love, purrs, and pets. These boys adore each other and need a forever home together — a place where their bond stays unbroken and their personalities can shine. Help us help them take their next step: From streets to snuggles. ----------- This kitty **MUST** be adopted into a home that already has another young cat, or adopted as a pair with a sibling or another kitty. Kittens are very social and do best with a friend! This site has great information about why 2 kittens really make a whole kitten: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens All TPW kittens are neutered, vaccinated against FVRCP, microchipped, and dewormed. We also test each litter for FIV and FeLV.

If interested in meeting this kitty, Please apply at: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TPW/Cat Meet Lola 💕 Lola’s journey hasn’t been an easy one, but this quiet, gentle girl has come so far and is finally ready for a forever home of her own. She was rescued after being abandoned and suffering severe injuries to her tail that required medical care and ultimately left her without one. Today, she’s healed beautifully and learning what it means to feel safe and loved. Lola is a shy, peaceful cat who prefers a calm environment where she can take her time settling in. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet and affectionate nature shines through. She enjoys cozy naps, soft voices, and simply being near her people. Her little tail-less body and tender spirit make her all the more special. Lola is looking for a patient, loving home that will give her the security she’s always deserved. In return, she will offer quiet companionship and a heart full of gratitude to the family lucky enough to call her their own. ----------- All TPW kittens are neutered, vaccinated against FVRCP, microchipped, and dewormed. We also test each litter for FIV and FeLV.

Story
Meet Odyssey 🤍🐾 This beautiful girl is the mama hen of the café, welcoming every new kitty that walks through the door with gentle warmth and calm reassurance. She has a nurturing heart and an old soul, making her a comforting presence for both cats and people. Odyssey is a little on the shyer, quieter side — you won’t always find her out in the center of the room. Instead, she loves the cozy safety of a cubby or the cat tower, where she can observe everything with her thoughtful, soft eyes. But the moment you reach in to pet her? Her whole heart opens. She becomes a purring machine, leaning into affection and soaking up every bit of love you offer. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion who will bond deeply and bring a peaceful energy into your home, Odyssey is your girl. She’s ready to leave the café nest and find her very own family to love. 🏡💗🐾 ----------- This kitty **MUST** be adopted into a home that already has another young cat, or adopted as a pair with a sibling or another kitty. Story
If interested in meeting this kitty, Please apply at: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TPW/Cat They were found where no kitten should ever be — abandoned in a trash can, huddled tightly together, trying to stay warm and safe in a world that had already let them down. 💔 But these four orange tabby babies chose hope. And now they are ready to choose YOU. Meet Marigold, Soleil, Dahlia, and Phoenix — three girls and one boy, bonded by survival and blossoming into the sweetest little personalities. 🌼 Marigold is pure sunshine in kitten form. Her favorite place in the world? Burrowed under a soft blanket, tucked into your lap, purring like a tiny engine of love. She melts into you and would happily spend hours being your cozy companion. 🌸 Dahlia and ☀️ Soleil are the dynamic duo. These two stick close together, exploring their world with wide eyes and fearless curiosity. They are playful, silly, and always investigating something new — the first to chase a toy and the last to stop wrestling. 🔥 Phoenix (their handsome boy) lives up to his name. Quiet, observant, and a little shy at first, he watches everything with thoughtful eyes. There is something undeniably regal about him — like he knows he rose from something hard and is destined for something beautiful. From a trash can to treasured companions… their story could have ended so differently. Instead, it’s just beginning. These resilient orange tabbies are healthy, happy, and ready to fill a home with warmth, laughter, and endless purrs. Whether adopted in pairs or welcomed individually, they will bring sunshine into your life every single day. Sometimes the most beautiful flowers grow from the most unexpected places. 🌼🧡 If you’re ready to give Marigold, Soleil, Dahlia, and Phoenix the safe, loving home they deserve, apply to adopt and come meet them. ----------- This kitty **MUST** be adopted into a home that already has another young cat, or adopted as a pair with a sibling or another kitty. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Welcome to Act 2 Rescue where you become part of our A2R family! Adoption is an important time in your life and we are grateful to be a part of it. We take pride in offering you a personalized adoption experience with continuing behavioral support as needed. -Mindy Gould, CEO   Hi, I’m Amaya I’m a Toyger — which means I look like a tiny tiger, with beautiful bold stripes and a sleek, athletic build (think Bengal flair with a designer twist!). I even come from the original creator of the Toyger breed, which makes my story a little extra special. I spent my early life as a cherished breeding girl, but now that my breeder is retiring, it’s finally my turn to have something just for me - my very own forever home. I’m very sweet, affectionate, and loving. I enjoy attention and bonding time, and I’ll happily show you my playful, curious side too. I have just a touch of that fun Bengal personality - smart, engaged, and a little expressive - but I’m also wonderfully cuddly. And my voice? It’s the cutest little raspy meow you’ve ever heard. It’s soft, charming, and completely unforgettable.   Now I’m ready for the next chapter - one where I’m someone’s special girl, not part of a program, but part of a family. Note:  A2R kitties are all sterilized, fully vaccinated (if old enough), socialized in private homes not a cattery, they usually receive high end cat food, probiotics, & regular health care. We also provide 30 days of Petcademy free to support transition into your new home as well as having a professional cat behavior coach on staff to support your needs. We take pride in going above and beyond in our customer and kitty service. When you adopt from us you become part of our A2R family and join a community through our social media as well. Be sure to follow us on Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and You Tube. _______________________________________________________________________  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please be aware we are a small foster based rescue in Riverside, California. Our volunteers often have other jobs/careers as well. We are not a government funded shelter and all of our donations including adoption donations are used to run the rescue and help the animals in our care. Since we are no kill, higher fees for in demand breeds help us cover critical care.  We are always in need of volunteers, donations, and fosters. Please excuse any wait times as we are often inundated with emergencies or short staffed due to the overpopulation crisis. You can learn more about us on our website or follow us here.   Steps 1-2  of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS or take deposits.  To keep animals healthy,  we limit  foster based meet & greets  to people fully qualified to adopt them.   No animals can be held without a $75 deposit. Deposits cannot be refunded if you change your mind, they are to hold a cat and can result in other adopters being told they cannot adopt. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.  Application:  Log into our website and complete the adoption application at link below: Applications :  Forms (rescuegroups.org) 2. Virtual Home Check: Once your application is approved, check back if you haven't been scheduled for a virtual home check within 48 hours.  A virtual home check to ensure safety of your residence for your kitty (not perfect cleanliness). You will be told during the visit if you pass.  3. Official meet & greet with your kitty at an adoption event, foster care, or adoption center depending on location of the kitty.   We only have a few  volunteers,  so we apologize at times we fall behind due to high demand of some cats.  5. Sign adoption contract and, if appropriate, foster to adopt clause. 6. Pay adoption fee via zelle using act2rescue@gmail.com (not our phone number) or using cash. We can accept cards at adoption events but the terminal charges fees that are pretty high so it's not the best option.  7. Take your kitty home. Be sure to isolate kitty while they adjust to your home. We may check in from time to time to be sure you do not need any additional support because we love hearing how our kitties are doing. As volunteer staff, happy stories are literally our paycheck.  8. Check out our website https://act2rescue.org for resources, blogs and info on how to best take care of your new kitty. Our professional behavior coach is available via text to assist you with transition as well. We also have a Facebook group to interact with our behavior coach and other kitten care experts, as well as our A2R family like you! ****Please note, we do not have dedicated staff for phone lines so please text instead of calling. If the cat/kitten is listed, they are available. However, they could have pending applications or meet and greets scheduled. Filling out an application and approval does not obligate you to adopt the kitty. If they are not a fit...we have plenty of other kitties for adoption. This kitty has received at least two FVCRP vaccines, rabies if over 4 months, Revolution for fleas/ticks/heartworms/stomach parasites/ear mites, de-wormer, sterilization*, and microchip (you must register for it to work but it's free).  All kitties are given a general wellness check by a veterinarian prior to sterilization.  Deposits: The only way we can hold a kitty is with a non-refundable (if you decide not to adopt within 2 weeks not if we void the adoption) deposit of $75. We reserve the right to void the adoption up until the point the contract is signed. If we cancel the adoption (for kitty health or other issues) we will refund your deposit. If you wait longer than 2 weeks, we cannot hold the kitty due to space constraints. Your deposit could be used on another kitty. If you decide not to adopt at all, any deposit will go to the care of animals rescued with us and may be written off as a donation.   Foster to Adopt: Kittens must be 2 lbs or 8 weeks and fixed to be adopted. This will be noted in the approximate available date. If a kitty is unable to be fixed in a timely manner, they may foster to adopt. This would be all adoption paperwork and donations would be exchanged and the kitten would go home. Adoption paperwork will have a clause that it is not final until animal is sterilized.  Once the sterilization appointment arrives you must bring them in to be sterilized or the animal will have to be returned to the rescue. You may also have them sterilized on your own and show proof to the rescue. Once sterilized the adoption will be complete. We normally do not do these in this manner but due to extreme situations they may arise. Final health checks are done during sterilization. Any unknown health issues would also allow you to choose a different cat.   Failure to comply with sterilization will result in returning the animal to us without refund of donations. Breeds:  We cannot guarantee breed but do our best to identify possible breeds based on their appearancxe and personality. If you DNA test your furry friend, let us know the results. It is fun to see what the kitty actually is and how close our guess is. Please know not all DNA companies test for all breeds and the science is still catching up so it may adjust later to have breeds we saw. We like to know so we can improve our analysis too.   We cannot guarantee health but go to great lengths to have healthy kitties. Kitties do not live in a cattery but in private fosters for this reason.  Snap Testing: We do not test for FELV/FIV in healthy animals as it is often incorrect in animals under 6 months and can be a false positive. False negatives also give a false sense of security. These tests are best done if an animal is unhealthy to determine disease.  https://www.uwsheltermedicine.com/library/resources/why-are-some-shelters-no-longer-testing-all-cats-for-felv-and-fiv February 23, 2026, 11:15 pm
