Jovie is a confident, fun-loving gal with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. She greets each day ready to explore, play, and soak up all the love you're willing to give. Jovie enjoys staying active and would thrive with someone excited to share an engaging, adventure-filled life alongside a joyful canine companion. She comes with some great life skills already mastered! Jovie is house-trained, knows some basic obedience, is good with other dogs, and has previously lived successfully with cats. She's social, affectionate, and loves being part of the action. Jovie does have a medical condition called osteochondrosis dissecans (OCD) that affects one of her ankle joints. This is a developmental joint condition that may mean she experiences occasional stiffness or lameness, especially as she ages. Some dogs do well with supportive care such as joint supplements, maintaining a lean and healthy weight, and thoughtful activity choices, while others may need additional support down the road.
