Leo is a 120lb Olde English Bulldogge and American Bully mix, but don’t let his size fool you! A gentle giant, afraid of his own dog bowl and would probably kiss a house intruder to death. He spends most of his day napping but is no stranger to play. He knows to lay on his back with his feet up and wait for his belly to be rubbed like a true spoiled pup! This boy is great with humans and other dogs alike. He is mild mannered and is perfect for a family with another pet. Leo can’t wait to meet you!

Hi Sweet and Kind Humans my name is Georgie and I am looking for a LOVING and DEVOTED Person to take me home and give me the life I should have had from the start! My story is a sad and weird one to say the least and kinda long so here it goes...bear with me now! I was living with another dog but he kept attacking me so our owner gave us to a rescue. Failed by a human already! Sooooo I was adopted out and lived with someone for maybe a year and then this person decided they couldn't take care of me so they started reaching out to other rescues to take me in and I had a bunch of medical issues by this time! Now this second human who failed me claimed that they reached out to my original rescue for a year to take me back-but no one really knows the story, so the kind humans helping me NOW can only go by the conflicting things they were being told, ohhhh if only I could speak human, but they don't care they just want to FIND ME A LOVING HOME! The rescue who originally got me has since closed down and but got me into a foster home (we think, not sure what happened) but that foster home also FAILED me because I ended up turned in as a stray at an awful pound out in the middle of no man's land in pretty bad shape! Failed for the THIRD time now in my short life span. I literally had NOWHERE to go and was sitting in pain and not feeling well so on a wing and a PRAYER another rescue got me OUT and the medical care I so badly needed and promised me I would only know LOVE and COMFORT from now one...SO HERE I AM! A little more about Me!: I am a super duper cute and SWEET as pie, MELLOW Male 4 year old Olde English Bulldog who absolutely LOVES and ADORES everyone I meet! I can be selective with other dogs so I'd rather be your one and only so I can have all of the love! I'm good with kids but I might knock a small human over accidentally so a home with older kids is a possibility! I like to take short walks and love nothing but to be next a person and have them give me pets I have the most cutest little stubby tail that wiggles when I am Happy, and I'm soooooo Happy now cause I feel so much better! Leo is an Olde English Bulldogge and American Bully mix. Approx 6yrs old. We adopted him about 4.5 years ago. He's very strong and healthy. Approx 110lbs, very chill and sleeps most of the day. He loves his bed. Walks like a champ on a leash. And responds well to commands. House trained. He roughhouses with his brother Jack after meals or when guests are here. He's a gentle giant. He has always backed down from aggression in dog parks.... even when attacked by two ridgebacks. Gets along with small dogs also. Will run from them if they are yappy and aggressive. He adores attention. Will roll over on his back for belly rubs. Loves a water hose. Loves zoomies. We will miss him dearly. We will supply 6 months of food and pay any vet bills. We are relocating back to Europe and cannot take our dogs with us (Jack was adopted today, Oct 11th) We are running out of time. We leave in 2 weeks. And are desperate for help in rehoming or fostering.

This is Preciosa, a 3-year-old Staffy Terrier I adopted from the shelter a while ago because I instantly fell in love with her. She’s been nothing but sweet, cuddly, and playful with my small dog, genuinely such a good girl. She’s spayed, microchipped, fully up to date on all vaccinations, and her vet in Camarillo adores her. She enjoys walks, pulls a bit, and happily greets everyone she sees. It breaks my heart to rehome her, but after a neighbor complaint truly based only on her breed I’m no longer able to keep her. She deserves a loving, caring home with someone active (she loves her walks)who appreciates doggy cuddles. Only note: she can jump pretty high for her size, so I wouldn’t recommend a home with very small kids or elderly family just to avoid accidental bumps. I’m also willing to part with her crate ($175 → $150 or best offer), her harness ($35 → $20), raised metal feeder ($30 → $20), no-pull leash ($10), her collar, and her outfits or everything for $200 OR BEST OFFER 🤍

If you feel you are qualified to manage the special medical or behavioral needs of this animal, email animal.care@ventura.org and include the Animal ID#.Wagner is short, stocky guy who is struggling in the shelter environment. The stress and arousal levels make it difficult to get him out of his kennel (he displays significant barrier reactivity and jumps up and bites/tugs on the leash or tries to bite at feet.) There are a few staff members who are able to get him out for walks and other activity, but there are very few volunteers who feel safe doing so. This really limits his enrichment opportunties and negatively impacts his quality of life. Once out of his kennel, this dog has been handleable and hasnt displayed any body handling sensitivities. He has done poorly in interactions with other dogs - while relatively aloof/neutral at a distance, he has shown some aggression to other dogs that may be conflict driven or related to resource guarding.He has bitten a person while in foster care, however it is believed to have been a displaced bite (where he missed the intended target, another dog, when the owner of the other dog dog stepped in front of their dog to defend it.)Additionally, on his way home with a previous adopter, they experienced aggression (growling, snapping) toward the male adopter.
