Story
With incredibly heavy hearts, we’ve made the difficult decision to rehome our two beloved dogs, Izzy and Opie. Due to a recent medical emergency in our family—my grandfather suffered a stroke and now struggles with severe balance issues—we can no longer give Izzy and Opie the freedom and attention they deserve. They’ve been kept in a separate room for safety, and it’s just not the life they should be living. Opie, going on 5, has been by Izzy’s side since he was a puppy. He’s a big, goofy boy with a huge heart and an even bigger love for running and playing outside. He needs a yard where he can stretch his legs and be his silly self. He knows his basics—sit and lay down—and is eager to please. Together, they are a joy. They’re great with kids, cats, and other medium-to-large dogs (they haven’t been around small dogs, but we believe they’d adjust just fine with proper introductions). Their bond is deep and unshakable—they must be adopted together.

Story
With incredibly heavy hearts, we’ve made the difficult decision to rehome our two beloved dogs, Izzy and Opie. Due to a recent medical emergency in our family—my grandfather suffered a stroke and now struggles with severe balance issues—we can no longer give Izzy and Opie the freedom and attention they deserve. They’ve been kept in a separate room for safety, and it’s just not the life they should be living. Izzy is a 6-year-old female who still has the energy of a puppy and the brains to match. She’s incredibly smart, loves to learn, and knows a whole list of commands: sit, lay down, paw, other paw, roll over, and even “get my back” (where she stands behind you protectively). She’s loyal, playful, and truly the heart of th Together, they are a joy. They’re great with kids, cats, and other medium-to-large dogs (they haven’t been around small dogs, but we believe they’d adjust just fine with proper introductions). Their bond is deep and unshakable—they must be adopted together.
