Meet Precious Angel. She’s a 2 year old pocket pittie mixed with a Boston terrier (this was the breed given by the owner.) This dog is smaller (maybe 25-30lbs) but FULL OF ENERGY. She jumps, runs, plays nonstop and will need an active family to tire her out.At the shelter she tested good with dogs (she’s high energy though so she will need a dog who doesn’t care), good with cats, and good with kids!** Precious Angel is in our care in Altoona PA. She is available for adoption. Each animal gets microchipped, spayed/neutered and vaccinated. The adoption fee covers those costs. Adoption fees are listed on the application. An application must be filled out in order to visit with any dog or cat. They can be found on our website www.centralpahumane.org under the Adopt A Pet tab or at the shelter. Our animals are posted on Facebook and Petfinder when time permits. A Petfinder inquiry is not an application, and they may not be responded to. We can only accept so many applications for each animal. We do adopt out of state, but we cannot hold the animal. **PA Kennel License #1333.

Meet Sugar Cube! She’s our new resident gardener here at CPHS. She enjoys pruning our trees and bushes on the regular. She can’t stand a yard that’s not properly manicured ??.She is 5 years old and a Pitbull Mix. She was an unclaimed stray so we can’t tell you much about her past. Sugar Cube tested well with dogs; she will present unsure at first meet, but then gets into play mode. She absolutely hates cats. She can live with kids. Her selling point? Her butt wiggle. You can’t live without it.** Sugar Cube is in our care in Altoona PA. She is available for adoption. Each animal gets microchipped, 4DX tested, spayed/neutered and vaccinated. The adoption fee covers those costs. Adoption fees are listed on the application. An application must be filled out in order to visit with any dog or cat.
