Pistol was surrendered after a disagreement with another dog, so he’s looking for a home where he can be the only canine companion. He’s a fun, affectionate boy who loves to play and cuddle—sometimes he just doesn’t know when to stop! Pistol does well with older children, enjoys car rides, and walks nicely on a leash. He is housebroken and ready to settle into a new home. Pistol does not do well with cats and would do best in a pet-free home where he can be the center of attention. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and on prevention.

Story
Indi is a smart and affectionate girl, but she is very dog selective and absolutely cannot live with small dogs or cats. We strongly recommend a meet and greet with any current household dogs before adopting or fostering her. She gets along well with bigger dogs but can be wary and chase smaller animals and livestock, so a home without cats or access to small animals is essential. Indi loves kids and new people and is housebroken and crate trained, though she can sometimes break out of her crate. Indi can jump fences at least 5 feet high, so a secure, tall privacy fence is a must. She knows basic commands like “sit,” “shake,” and “lay,” but car rides stress her out, causing her to hyperventilate. She does best with calm, patient owners who understand her needs. She has a tendency to counter-surf and chew on things when left unsupervised, so crating her when alone is recommended if you cannot dog-proof your home. Indi is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention. This special girl needs a confident, understanding home that can meet her unique needs and help her thrive.

Tippy Tap was brought in as a stray, and her owners chose not to reclaim her. She’s a very happy, people-loving girl with a big heart. She absolutely cannot live with cats. She hasn’t been formally dog-tested yet, though she hasn’t seemed to mind her doggy neighbors. She also appears to be potty trained. Tippy Tap has received her DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchip, and dewormer. She is heartworm negative and currently on prevention.
