Story
Hank is a three year old Old English Buldogge. He is the most affectionate dog ever. He loves cuddling. He is generally low energy and likes to sleep all day. Bonus if he is alllowed on the couch. He gets a small burst of energy in the evenings and loves a chew toy. He has been a sweet family dog with our kids. He is very protective of our family which has been challenging for walks etc. I truly believe he would be best with a single person owner or maybe a couple as long as they can establish an alpha position. Hank has such a good heart but his level of protectiveness for our family members makes us worried about strangers/kid's friends constantly entering our home.He is crate trained, house trained, and completed a four week board-and-train program. When at the trainer’s house gets along with other dogs (but not when with us due to his protectiveness). He’s truly a sweet dog but needs a more alpha owner.

Story
Meet Skippy! Skippy arrived at WAG after being dumped in a crate outside our gate in an act of desperation. He was terrified, but after being given time to adjust, he is able to show us his true personality. Skippy is a husky/boxer mix and was born in December 2021. He has done well with some similarly sized dogs at WAG after proper introductions, but would not do well in a home with cats (due to a husky's high prey drive), or small children (due to his large size and enthusiastic playing style). He has previously lived with children, so may be okay with older kids in the home. Skippy does take a little time to get used to new people. He would not be a good dog to take to a dog park. Skippy does require a fenced yard to keep him from wandering. He would do best as part of an active family that can help him continue to work on his training and socialization.
