PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES ABOUT ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Apollo is a 4 year old Staffordshire terrier lab mix who loves nothing more than to snuggle and love on his human. He is smart, gentle, snuggly, and playful. He is 65lbs. Apollo is up to date on all vaccinations and is neutered. He loves to sunbathe and be outside with his human. He has a hard time trusting males and struggles with change, so he will need a home that is stable (not moving a lot) and the male in the home needs to be there enough to build a relationship with him (not in and out traveling for work). Apollo does have anxiety and will need a lot of help with overcoming this especially with going to the vet and groomer. He has allergies in the fall/winter and eats Zignature kangaroo allergy friendly food. He loves to play with other dogs and has never had an incident while at doggie daycare, but he sometimes plays like a puppy and that can scare some bigger dogs. He’s patient and gentle with kids but would do best in a home with older kids because younger kids make him anxious. He is crate trained, house broken, and does great in his kennel. He is the most lovable guy who needs someone to help him with anxiety in an environment that is stable and calm. This dog requires a fully fenced yard with a visible fence, as well as a sturdy, high quality crate (no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Adoption donation is $250.00. THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN LACEY, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard - Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). - Another like sized, playful, kind dog - Western Washington (WA), and possibly Northern Oregon locations at caseworker discretion. No other out of state adoptions at this time. Story
This sweet snuggle girl is looking for her forever home! She loves to go for short walks & be with her people. When meeting strangers for the first time, she will climb right into their lap asking for pets and scratches. We don't think she's a great guard dog. But guard your heart as she will steal it with her sweet puppy dog eyes. Ellie doesn't play with toys much, as she would rather have belly rubs and booty scratches. She's an independent girl and likes to do her own thing. When outside she sniffs around and trots here and there. Ellie isn't super althletic and really just requires a comfy couch, pets, and a short walk here and there. We think she's more of a Netflix and chill sort of gal. She's dog selective & we recommend a meet & greet with any dog that will be living with her. She has been exposed to cats & is good with them. Ellie has also been around children & enjoys their company. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, & on preventatives. She is being fostered in Seguin, TX. Story
Available in TX, PNW & NE (excluding NH and MA) This handsome man is Jake Gyllenpaws. Jake is a real model and is good at stealing hearts with his good looks. His foster mom says Jake has the "model look to him. He lays down and when you stop petting him, he looks back at you with "Blue Steel." Of course, this look often ends with more pets and kisses for the sweet boy. How could you not just love all over this boy? Jake loves to cuddle on the couch and be by your side soaking up all the love. After being stuck in the shelter, Jake has been working so hard on his doggie manners and wants to show you how far he's come. He can sit, lie down, and has been working on learning to stay. He is potty trained and loves to be outside in a yard with his family. He doesn't much care for the crate, but his foster family is committed to showing him it can be a pawsitive place. Jake is a gentle boy and sensitive. After his last vet visit, he looked quite sad, so his foster mom took him to get a pup-cup and it made him very happy again. Jake will require continued spoiling and love, as he deserves the best. Jake is living with 2 other dogs in his foster family and loves having play mates. They get along very well outside of treat time. Jake would prefer not to share. It's likely best to feed Jake separately from other resident dogs since he's still learning that sharing is caring. This Jake Gyllenpaws isn't a fan of cats. A home without felines is best for him. Jake is a velco boy and loves to be with his family. His human foster brother is turning out to be his best friend. Jake is learning to be gentle with him because he gets so excited when he sees him. Although Jake hasn't met any smaller children, we think he would do well with kids over 10. He does like the zoomies and with his zest for life, he may knock over the smaller ones trying to play. Sweet Jake is a real lap dog at heart and loves being by your side. If you're looking for an energetic and loving pup to join your family, Jake Gyllenpaws could be the perfect match for you! Story
Available for TX, PNW and NE (excluding MA and NH) Meet Tommy Paw Jones, the resilient and heartwarming 4 year old boy who has captured the hearts of everyone he meets. Tommy's journey began in adversity, arriving at the rescue with a heartworm-positive diagnosis and a crushed leg that had to be amputated. But his indomitable spirit shone through, inspiring everyone around him with his courage and determination. One of Tommy's most endearing qualities is his love for other dogs. He adores the company of his canine companions and finds immense joy in their presence. While he is friendly and affectionate, a meet and greet is recommended to ensure a harmonious introduction to his new furry friends. Tommy is a nature enthusiast at heart; he finds solace and happiness in the great outdoors. His favorite pastimes include chasing squirrels and playing with his dog buddies in the open air. He revels in the feeling of soft rugs and carpets under his paws, making them his preferred spots for lounging and walking. Tommy has a unique way of expressing his affection: he loves going between your legs, a heartwarming gesture that showcases his boundless love. He eagerly greets his family at the door, his eyes lighting up with excitement whenever they return. One of Tommy's favorite activities is snuggling on the couch. There, he finds comfort and warmth in the embrace of his family, reminding them of the incredible bond they share. Although Tommy is a bundle of love and joy, there are a few things he's not particularly fond of. Car rides make him uneasy, and he prefers to avoid doorways, perhaps a remnant of his past experiences. Despite these minor quirks, Tommy's loving nature far outweighs any reservations he might have. Tommy's story is one of triumph over adversity, a tale that exemplifies the transformative power of love, compassion, and second chances. Adopting Tommy means welcoming not just a pet but a resilient soul who will fill your life with unconditional love and endless joy. He is house trained, microchipped, fully vaccinated, & neutered. He is being fostered in San Antonio, TX and is ready for his new home. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
