Story
Meet Mouse, a striking lavender Oriental Shorthair and purebred neutered male with a big personality and an expressive voice. Mouse adores his humans and forms a strong one-on-one bond, following them from room to room and announcing his presence before settling nearby to supervise. He loves high places, cat trees, and perching where he can watch over his surroundings like the confident house prince he is. Mouse does best with a consistent routine and has specific preferences that should be respected. He requires a large litter box with high sides and uses clumping clay litter only, specifically Precious Cat/Dr. Elsey’s or Fresh Step. He is free-fed dry food and enjoys Dr. Elsey’s dry and Friskies dry, along with a small can of wet food twice daily. He prefers shreds and select pâtés, and mealtime is important to him. His water bowl must remain clean and full. Mouse must be the only cat in the household. When other cats are present, he develops behavioral issues, but he does very well as the sole feline in the home where he can feel secure and settled. The only exception has been Figaro, a shy “project kitty” he currently lives with and gets along with well. While they are not a bonded pair and do not have to be adopted together, Figaro is the only cat Mouse has accepted. To help with his transition, Mouse will come with his favorite blue feather wand toy and black crate mat or bed. His ideal home is calm and structured, with people who appreciate a vocal, affectionate companion who wants to be involved in daily life. If you're looking for a fabulously dramatic, affectionate, talkative companion who will bond deeply with his person and rule your home with charm, commentary, and loyal companionship, Mouse is ready to claim your heart and your couch. HE HAS TO BE THE ONLY CAT IN THE HOUSEHOLD.  He is tested, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His birth date is 9/28/2017 and his adoption fee is $500.April 22, 2026, 4:42 pm

Story
There is nothing Antares wants more in life than to snuggle with you and get lots of attention. Antares had a rough start in life. When he was just 7 months old, he was rescued from an animal hoarding home where he had spent his entire life living in a small kennel. He eventually got adopted, but that family also failed him. Despite Antares being healthy and very affectionate they tried to euthanize him. Thankfully one of our volunteers was there and was able to convince the owners to surrender him to our rescue instead. Antares is a truly amazing cat. He is sweet, gentle, playful and loves snuggling. Antares would be happiest as an only pet because he doesn't get along with other animals. One important thing you need to know about Antares is that he is VERY talkative. If you aren't into a cat that meows a lot, he won't be the boy for you. Based on his personality and physical traits, we believe he might be part oriental cat. Antares is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, snap tested and his blood work is normal.

Story
Approximate date of birth: 4/27/2022 | I'm the loveliest fluff you ever have seen. I will follow you everywhere to see what you are doing. If you are working, cooking or cleaning, I will always be next to you. I will cuddle with you on the bed, if you allow me. I'm the best sidekick you will ever know. I can be your shadow if I could. I'm open to having more siblings but a slow introduction is best. I might hiss at first, but I won't hurt anyone. I'm not scared of strange people visiting the house. I will come running to greet all guests (after few minutes of observation or judgment from far). Side note: I have a congenital illness that is out of my control. I cannot control my bowels and may have accidents. Please understand I will need your help to keep me clean and happy daily. Cleaning my own backend has proven problematic in the past and caused me lots of pain (ask my foster-mama for the story) and trust me, I don't want to go through that again. I am very easy to take care of and am very used to the process as I like to be clean! Even though my foster-mama loves me very much, is very patient with me, and cleans me all the time, she would love to help me find a place to call HOME. I want my own home where all (or most) of the attention would be for me! | If interested, please talk to adoption coordinator to get more information about Kai's care - it is easier than it may sound! | Sociable with cats: Likes with proper introduction | Sociable with dogs: Unknown but optimistic ( has not met a dog) | Sociable with kids over 12| Health information: All cats and kittens are spayed and neutered, preventatively dewormed, and microchipped. In addition, they are FeLV/FIV tested and vaccinated as appropriate by age. | Interested in adopting? Apply to meet and adopt. | How to apply: please fill out application at https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/apply/April 22, 2026, 2:40 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Sabertooth,  an 8-year-old flame point Siamese with movie-star looks and the most chill personality you’ll ever meet. Despite my fierce name, I’m really just a laid-back, loving guy who’s happiest when I’m close to my people.   I don’t have any teeth, but don’t worry—I do just fine and it hasn’t slowed me down one bit. What I do have is an endless supply of affection. I love to cuddle, love to sleep with you, and will gladly be your constant companion wherever you are.   I get along wonderfully with other cats, kids, and dogs, making me an easy, go-with-the-flow addition to just about any home. Calm, sweet, and incredibly loving, I’m truly an all-around amazing boy.   If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will fill your home with warmth, comfort, and quiet companionship, I’m your guy.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    Our adoption fee is $175       If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Cat Interest Form on AZRAIN.ORG and, if you are selected as a prospective adopter, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet.
