Story
Meet Binx Binx has completely stolen his foster mom's heart during the few months she has fostered him. She has considered "foster failing" more than once, but knows that his perfect forever family is out there waiting to meet him. Binx is the kind of cat people fall in love with immediately. He is incredibly affectionate and social, and he wants to be involved in everything you do. Whether he's perched on the bathroom sink watching you brush your teeth, greeting you at the window with a meow, or curling up beside you for a cuddle, Binx is happiest when he's with his people. His loyalty and devotion are unlike anything I've ever experienced in a cat. He does wonderfully with children, gets along great with dogs, and would likely thrive in a home with another playful cat companion. One of his favorite activities is playing with his foster mother's dog, and he loves toys almost as much as he loves attention. If you're looking for an "in-your-pocket" cat who wants to be your constant companion, Binx is your guy. Binx was originally surrendered to the shelter due to an autoimmune skin condition. The good news is that after a veterinary evaluation and a Depo injection, his skin has returned completely to normal. In the interest of full transparency, it is likely that he will need Depo shots on a monthly or every-other-month basis to keep his condition under control. Fortunately, these injections are generally affordable, and with a knowledgeable veterinarian, it should be easy to establish a routine that keeps him comfortable and thriving. Binx deserves a family who will see past a manageable medical condition and recognize the incredible cat he truly is. He has so much love to give, and whoever adopts him will gain a loyal best friend, a professional cuddle expert, and a constant source of entertainment. Could that family be yours? Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
