Story
Meet Ginger! Ginger is a handsome Oriental boy with a playful spirit and an affectionate heart. He and his brother, Spots, were adopted as kittens in Saudi Arabia, but when their owner was transferred, they were heartbreakingly left behind. Despite that difficult chapter, Ginger has remained a loving, happy cat who is ready to find a family that will cherish him forever. One of Ginger's favorite things is spending quiet mornings with his people. He'll happily sit beside you while you enjoy your coffee, soaking up your company just as much as he soaks up the warm sunshine streaming through the window. In fact, a sunny windowsill is one of his favorite places to nap. When it's time to play, Ginger's fun-loving personality takes over! He loves chasing laser pointers and gets so excited that he sometimes forgets to put on the brakes—don't be surprised if he runs right into a wall in his enthusiasm! His playful antics are guaranteed to keep you laughing. Ginger is also an excellent climber and would love a tall cat tree where he can stretch, climb, scratch, and survey his kingdom. It will keep him happy, active, and give him the perfect place to sharpen his nails. Affectionate, entertaining, and full of personality, Ginger would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of love, playtime, and sunny spots for afternoon naps. He would be especially happy if he could stay with his brother, Spots, but most of all, he deserves a forever family that will never leave him behind again. If you're looking for a playful companion who will make you smile every day and keep you company through life's quiet moments, Ginger is ready to meet you. Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Meet Binx  Binx has completely stolen his foster mom's heart during the few months she has fostered him. She has considered "foster failing" more than once, but knows that his perfect forever family is out there waiting to meet him. Binx is the kind of cat people fall in love with immediately. He is incredibly affectionate and social, and he wants to be involved in everything you do. Whether he's perched on the bathroom sink watching you brush your teeth, greeting you at the window with a meow, or curling up beside you for a cuddle, Binx is happiest when he's with his people. His loyalty and devotion are unlike anything I've ever experienced in a cat. He does wonderfully with children, gets along great with dogs, and would likely thrive in a home with another playful cat companion. One of his favorite activities is playing with his foster mother's dog, and he loves toys almost as much as he loves attention. If you're looking for an "in-your-pocket" cat who wants to be your constant companion, Binx is your guy. Binx was originally surrendered to the shelter due to an autoimmune skin condition. The good news is that after a veterinary evaluation and a Depo injection, his skin has returned completely to normal. In the interest of full transparency, it is likely that he will need Depo shots on a monthly or every-other-month basis to keep his condition under control. Fortunately, these injections are generally affordable, and with a knowledgeable veterinarian, it should be easy to establish a routine that keeps him comfortable and thriving. Binx deserves a family who will see past a manageable medical condition and recognize the incredible cat he truly is. He has so much love to give, and whoever adopts him will gain a loyal best friend, a professional cuddle expert, and a constant source of entertainment. Could that family be yours? Story
Annabelle is such a sweet, affectionate girl with a diva alter ego! She is both sweet and cheeky, she loves to play and chase the other cats in rescue. She absolutely loves attention/being pet and will come for cuddles, and snuggle at night on the bed but does not like to be picked up. She is a sweetheart. Eats both wet and dry food and is not a particularly fussy eater. Story
Lulu is a darling, young female Siamese we are helping to find a new home for her. A previous adopter of ours got Lulu on Craigslist last year as a kitten and with a very heavy heart needs to rehome her for the best of Lulu. Lulu is a loving sweet and kind 1 year old Siamese that is extremely stressed in her current environment. Plays with toys and loves to sit on a lap. There has been a lot of construction repair in the apartment with a lot of noise and interruption. She lives in an apartment with loud door noises and talking in the hallway. The stress has caused Lulu to occasional pee outside of box. She has become a very nervous cat. Lulu has been checked out by vet and is medically healthy. She is one of those very sensitive little meezers that needs a quiet calm home as an only cat. Her mom is devastated to rehome her but knows deep down it is for Lulu’s best interest. She is currently in Mechanicsburg, PA but arrangements can be arranged for transport.

Story
IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Savannah! This beautiful Siamese is a young cat approximately 2 years old and 7 pounds. Savannah is on allergy medication and may need to be on it long term. It is not expensive, but our vet does feel she may need daily meds. She is a good sport and takes her medication without issues. Savannah is a very sweet and quiet kitty. She enjoys coming around on her own time but also loves a good nap in a corner. She is good with the resident calm dog. Savannah would do best in a calm home that is quieter. Savannah is fine as an only cat or would do well with another cat in the home. She has lived with kitties as she has been a mommy and lived with her kittens. She is litter trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines, Combo tested Negative and microchipped. The adoption fee for this cat is $200.00. ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application (it does not commit you in any way but allows us to help you to find a great match). Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** **You must be at least 25 years old to adopt an animal from Canines & Kitties Rescue.** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. Cats adopted through Canines & Kitties Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed (unless already declawed at the time of rescue). *If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application. *
