Rescue FAQs

We are a foster based rescue, ran solely by unpaid, volunteers whom are dedicated to the safe rehoming of dogs and cats from the shelter systems. We occasionally take owner surrenders on a case by case basis. We are a registered not-for-Profit organization.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. This helps us to ensure the Pet you’re interested in is likely a suitable match.
  2. Approve Application
    1. Please allow 48 hours for volunteers to review the application. If approved, you will be contacted for a meet and greet.
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. Meetings take place at the foster home. Please bring all families members and current pets.
  4. Home Check
    1. If the meeting goes well, a volunteer will bring the animal to you to complete the informal home check and finalize the adoption.
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. Done at the time of the home check
  6. Pay Fee
    1. Done at the time of the home check. Our fees range from $300-$500, depending on our expenses incurred with each animal.
  7. Take the Pet Home
    1. Done at the time of the home check.
