Rescue FAQs
We are a foster based rescue, ran solely by unpaid, volunteers whom are dedicated to the safe rehoming of dogs and cats from the shelter systems. We occasionally take owner surrenders on a case by case basis. We are a registered not-for-Profit organization.

Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- This helps us to ensure the Pet you’re interested in is likely a suitable match.
- Approve Application
- Please allow 48 hours for volunteers to review the application. If approved, you will be contacted for a meet and greet.
- Meet the Pet
- Meetings take place at the foster home. Please bring all families members and current pets.
- Home Check
- If the meeting goes well, a volunteer will bring the animal to you to complete the informal home check and finalize the adoption.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Done at the time of the home check
- Pay Fee
- Done at the time of the home check. Our fees range from $300-$500, depending on our expenses incurred with each animal.
- Take the Pet Home
- Done at the time of the home check.
