Rescue FAQs

San Diego Poodle Rescue is a division of the San Diego Poodle Club. We are a non-profit group dedicated to helping poodles in need. Our poodles come from a variety of sources such as owner relinquishments and from various animal shelters. To find out more about our club, please visit our website at www.sandiegopoodleclub.org.
Southern California.

Additional adoption info

The best way to contact us is by email! If you are interested in one of the poodles listed on our website or are inquiring about relinquishing a poodle, please contact us. An adoption application must be completed and approved prior to meeting all animals for possible adoption. Home visits are also done by a poodle rescue representative. All of our poodles are spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinations are up to date. You may also check with the rescue division of the Poodle Club of Southern California to see who they have available for adoption - their website is www.poodleclubsocal.com.

STANDARD POODLES: We seldom get standard poodles into rescue. However, we will keep a list of people interested in adopting a standard so that when one becomes available, we can email you. Please email us that you are looking for a standard poodle, your preference (if any) as to sex, color and age. Also, tell us about your home and whether you have children, dogs, cats or other animals. Email Janine at info@sandiegopoodlerescue.org.

WE DO NOT SHIP OUR RESCUES AND THEY CANNOT BE ADOPTED OUT OF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AREA!!!
