Rescue FAQs

Silver Lake does not have a shelter. We are a group of concerned animal lovers who foster dogs, puppies, cats and kittens in our homes. We are mainly focused in Oakland and Macomb Counties. We try to save as many animals as we can but we are limited due to small number of foster homes available. We spay/neuter all animals older than 4 months of age. Check out our Facebook Page too!
All counties in the State of Michigan. We do not do out of state/country adoptions unless the adopters drive to Michigan to pick up the pet.

Additional adoption info

Dogs/puppies are $300.00 and cats/kittens are $150. This includes shots, spay/neuter and dewormings, microchipping etc. We do not adopt on a "first come/first serve basis". We try to match each animal with the right family based on the individual animal's needs and personality. We do home checks, vet checks and initial applications.
