Rescue FAQs

We are a local humane society dedicated to ending the homeless pet problems in our county and to help our county become a role model for how rural communities can care for animals humanely. We provide low-cost spay and neuter vouchers to county residents who cannot afford to have their pets fixed. We have several feral cat colonies that we have worked out a trap and return policy on. These cats have all been fixed and are fed and cared for by residents in the community.
The Warm Hearts Humane Society is non-profit organization dedicated to ending the homeless pet problems in our county and, by example, help our county become a role model for how rural communities can care for animals humanely. We are the only fostering Humane Society in Montgomery County, Arkansas. We serve the whole county which is mainly rural.

Additional adoption info

Warm Hearts animals are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis. We require an adoption application and vet references. Interviews are conducted to make sure that the animal is a good fit for the family. Our adoption fees help cover our vet and day-to-day costs of animal care.
