Rescue FAQs

Minnesota Wisconsin Collie Rescue (MWCR) is a registered non-profit charitable organization made up of volunteers who are dedicated to the safety and welfare of purebred rough and smooth Collies. The purpose of MWCR is to rescue as many unwanted Collies as we possibly can. We assess their adoptability and place them into loving homes. We try to make the best possible match between dog and new family
Minnesota, Wisconsin and other midwest states

Additional adoption info

In order to adopt a Collie from MWCR you must complete a MWCR Adoption Questionnaire (found on our website at www.mwcr.org) Once the references are contacted and the home check visit is completed, your application will be submitted to the Adoption Committee and Board of Directors for their approval. When a suitable match is made, the adoption is completed with the signing of a formal Adoption Contract.

Fees to adopt a collie range from $140 - $325
