Rescue FAQs
As an advocacy we are interested in the well being of all ferrets. We educate, seek to change laws governing ferrets and seek to establish better guidelines for breeders and set up guidelines for manufacturers of food and products for ferrets. There are other things we seek to do but this will take time.
We are a 501(C)(4) non-profit organization. We do education of the public on ferrets and we operate strictly as an adoption agency. Ferrets remain in their homes until a qualified home is approved. The the ferret go directly to their new home right from its current home. Groups of ferrets are never separated. We are also the first and only species specific SPC in the world.
Additional adoption info
Adoption applications are available upon request after calling us. If you are approved the only requirement is that the adopter must become and remain a member of the organization. It does not matter how many ferrets you adopt the membership fee remains the same.
