Rescue FAQs

Countrydogs Rescue Inc. was founded by Jim Marsh, an animal control officer in the Denver area. We believe there is always a need and a way to do more for homeless animals. Local animal shelters are our primary source for rescue. All breeds are considered with our focus being dogs that have had difficulties or delays being adopted, dogs with physical disabilities, and geriatric dogs. We need special people to help these special dogs. We are a small rescue with only volunteers. We need donations of any kind, foster homes, and of course adopters.
Countrydogs Rescue Inc. is a non-profit dog rescue. We serve the entire Denver front range area, and are located in Brighton, Colorado. All breeds are considered, with an emphasis on dogs that have had difficulties in being adopted from shelters for reasons other than aggression, dogs with physical disabilities, and geriatric dogs.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes a phone interview, application for adoption, dog visit, and an adoption contract. Adoption fees vary, with a maximum fee of $200
