Rescue FAQs

We are a very small group of dog lovers that are devoted to the well being of small breed dogs. We try to only bring in dogs under 15 pounds so they can be safely housed together. It is heartwarming to see a dog that has spent its entire life in a kennel learn how to play with toys, accept love from a human, and actually want to be touched.
We are a small group of devoted dog lovers trying to help save those in need, one dog at a time. We specialize in rescuing dogs that have spent their life in breeding kennels but do have a few owner release and pound dogs as well. We adopt out all ages of dogs from the very young to the very old. We do not euthanize our dogs unless it is recommended by our vet. We pride ourselves in trying to find the perfect home for each of our dogs.

Additional adoption info

Our rescue is foster based so the dogs are in homes where they are learning to get along with other dogs and humans. We require a vet reference as well as two personal references with each application. Our funds to rescue and vet all dogs come from our adoption fees or our personal funds. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, have dentals, and heartworm checked before leaving the rescue. If they are too young or small to be safely neutered, they are adopted on a spay/neuter contract.
