Rescue FAQs

There's No Place Like Home animal rescue is a not for profit organization based out of the bay area. We rescue animals of various species from a variety of situations. After they have been rehabilitated, we place them up for adoption and provide them with proper care until their forever home can be found. We do our absolute best to fulfill our promise to our rescues which is to place them in their best situation, with their best possible family, to live a full life. As all of the animals that we have rescued have found, there really is no place like home. Whether or not you are looking for information on general pet care and services, to foster a pet in need, or to welcome a new addition to your own family, you have come to the right place!
All animals in our care are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, microchipped, heartworm tested (dogs), combo tested (cats), groomed & have had teeth cleanings if needed before adoption. We are located in both the east & north bay areas.

Additional adoption info

We try to make our adoption process as easy as possible for potential adopters. We first ask that you fill out an adoption application (available on our website, or we'd be happy to email you one.) Once we have reviewed your application, we can schedule a time to meet with you and the animal you are interested in. If all goes well, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption contact (available for review on our website) and the adoption will be finalized.

Adoption fees are required in order to assist us in sustaining the organization.
The adoption fee for cats & kittens is $65.00
The adoptoin fee for dogs & puppies is $175.00
