Shelter FAQs
We take in and pick up all stray dogs in our county. If they are not reclaimed after the appropriate hold period per our state law the dogs go up for adoption. We adopt, transfer all dogs at the shelter. All dogs get to stay until they find a home.
We as dog wardens serve Henry County in Ohio. Our dogs are available for adoption to all counties and states.
Additional adoption info
$75 adoption fee, which includes vaccinations, and bordatella and a current dog license. Adoption application must be filled out. If a rescue has a 501c3 I can transfer the dog at no charge and without a license.
