Rescue FAQs

Arctic Rescue Southwest (ARSW) was launched with the goal of providing much needed support to the arctic breed community. ARSW moved from New Mexico to North Carolina in 2019. ARSW focuses primarily on pulling dogs from kill shelters, and educating owners to help dogs stay in homes. We provide training and advice on dealing with numerous behavioral problems. Our goals are to find our dogs suitable forever homes, and minimize the number of dogs that end up in shelters. If you have any questions, or are interested in adopting a dog, please contact us at ARSW@arcticrescue.com

We require an application to be submitted, a home check and reference check.

Our adoption fees are:
$175 for senior dogs over 10
$250 for dogs over one year of age up to 10 years old
$325 for puppies (a $50 deposit will be returned upon fulfillment of spay/neuter contract).
