Rescue FAQs

One Voice 4 Paws (OV4P) is a small non-profit 501c3 dog rescue organization committed to assisting in the reduction of the small, adoptable dog population by temporarily placing them in local foster homes while the health and vaccination history of each animal is updated. OV4P’s commitment to our animals extends throughout its lifetime. All OV4P team members are fully dedicated to its Vision.
We are based in the Central Willamette Valley of Oregon and serve all areas of Oregon and Washington and have additional foster homes located in the Southern California area.

Additional adoption info

We try to recover our costs for rescuing dogs with adoption fees, and require the completion of an adoption application in order to be considered for one of our dogs. Additionally, we will need to complete a home visit to ensure that your environment is safe for the dog. At that time, we can set up a 1-2 week trial period to begin so you and the dog can get to know each other and know if this is a good fit for all of you.
