Rescue FAQs

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again. These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help. They are the forgotten cats. The cats that most rescues "don't have time for." ALL cats deserve love. ALL cats deserve a good home. ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care. Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats. Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.
Forgotten Felines of Culpeper serves Culpeper County, VA and neighboring counties.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process requires you filling out an approved adoption application, meeting your future family member, and signing a contract. Fees vary depending on the cat - their socialibility, age, and how long they have been looking for their furrever home. Fees range from $35 to $65. All cats are spayed/neutered, feline leukemia tested negative, and have had their first set of vaccines.
