Rescue FAQs

I've been doing rescue work for about 5 years as a volunteer and recently became a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit. All pets under my rescue that are up for adoption are fully vetted prior to adoption including spade/neutered.
About Our Rescue Group... Wag-a-Lot Rescue, Inc. We are a network of volunteers dedicated to placing unwanted or abandoned dogs of all breeds into permanent homes. It is funded by donations and supported by MUTT lovers and volunteers throughout the world. WALR, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Additional adoption info

When filling out an application, the potential adopter will be required to fill out an application that will include; a reference check, vet check to make sure all other pets in the home are spayed or neutered and up-to-date on their vaccinations. Our adoption fees is $150 local in San Antonio. This adoption fee includes: spay/neuter surgery, first set of vaccinations, microchip, de-wormer, flea prevention, heartworm prevention, collar, tag,
