Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I’m a tiny little cutie pie named Manifold or “Manny” for short. My foster mom pulled me off the euthanasia list at the county pound because she has another foster the same age and we look a lot alike. His name is Muffler.
I was terrified when I first came home. She could not get me out of the kennel and I would act like I would nip, but it was all a tough act – I never did. After about a week I decided she was okay as far as humans go and now I want to be with her all the time. I sit on her lap when she is on the computer, I snuggle under her arm when she sleeps and when we go outside so I can go potty, as soon as I am done I like for her to pick me up and put me under her warm coat. See, right now I am very, very skinny so I get cold easily.
I am in a foster home with 10 other dogs, both big and little and I do okay. Some of the bigger dogs scare me, so I avoid them, but I don’t cause issues. I walk nicely on a lead and I am house broken, as long as I get outside regularly. I am working on understanding the doggy door that goes onto my foster mom’s patio, but it worries me a little because of that big flap that hits me in the head. I do know how to use a piddle pad though. When I see something I don’t know I bark to let mom know, but already have learned to quiet down when told.
I’ve had a rough start to life. I was picked up by the pound as a stray and that place was scary and I almost didn’t make it out. I did though, and now I am ready to find my new family and start my happy new life. Come on over and meet me. I am turning out to be a wonderful little companion dog.
