This beautiful young lady is Queenie, a 2 year old border collie mix that came to us from our Newark facility in hopes of getting a wonderful home of her own. Queenie had a sad beginning to her young life.....she was found in the back yard of an abandoned home. Apparently her family moved out, but decided to leave her behind. Queenie is so much better off now anyway and couldn't be happier to have a chance at a whole new life. This pretty girl just couldn't be any sweeter if she tried. As soon as you open her door to take her for a walk, you're automatically her best friend. Queenie will stand on her hind legs and give you a gentle hug, then wait patiently to be leashed up. She walks well on a leash and sits nicely when asked. Queenie absolutely loves going in our exercise yard and will run and play with toys for hours if she could. She is very affectionate and is quite content to sit by your side to get some attention. Queenie gets along well with other dogs and just loves everyone she meets. She would make a perfect addition to any great family that promises to love and care for her forever, and never leave her behind again. File#23417 4/3/14
