My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teddy is a black cat with just a tiny bit of white on his chest. He is a sweet boy with an independent spirit and will largely entertain himself! He can be a bit cautious at first and won't just roll over for anyone, but when he's ready for lovin' he'll let you know. Who can pass up a good rub down when the time is right? As for recreation activities, Teddy tends to be more of an observer...though when the mood strikes him he's the first one with his paw raised for a good romp with a feather wand or laser pointer.

Teddy doesn’t talk much except at mealtime time. He saves his conversation for important topics, like food! When he is really relaxed and content he will purr for you to let you know all is right in his world.

Teddy has lived in a quiet, adult home since he was a kitten with a work at home caregiver. He enjoys having the company of a person nearby, but would probably be fine with someone who works outside the home. This cat is indoor only.

This cat is a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cat.

Our Adoption Fee for Teddy is $110. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia Testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs.
Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties.
