Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our girl Darla is ready for a home of her own! You may have heard of Darla when she came to us with half her body covered in green paint. It's likely that when Darla was out roaming the streets all alone, she bumped into a freshly painted something or other and became known as the green dog! Darla is green no more, after having a refreshing spa day, and she is just loving life now. Darla is only about 2 years old and she's a hound/lab mix. She got her name because she is absolutely darling. When Darla came in, she was quite terrified and shaky, but she was still incredibly friendly and wanted nothing more than to bury her head in your arm and have you hug her. It didn't take much coaxing to get Darla to come out of her shell.....one squeak of a toy in our exercise yard and Darla let loose and started playing like the happy, healthy girl that she is. Darla just loves people and loves to run, play and just be with you. She's very well behaved and will sit instantly when asked, and even offer you a pawshake if you offer her one. Darla doesn't seem to mind other dogs and she would make a wonderful addition to any good family that will never let her go again. Please give our darling Darla the fresh start in life that she deserves. File#23554 5/29/14
