Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If your dream beagle is tall, tri-colored, and ohhh so handsome, then look no further, I am your pup! I am one good-looking beagle boy if I do say so myself. I also love to play with chew toys and ropes, race around the yard, and take nice long walks hunting for rabbits and squirrels. I also love belly rubs, giving doggie kisses, and hanging out with humans while I chew on a toy. I am super coordinated for being so young and would love to go to some agility classes to use up some energy. I have a great spin while I’m racing! I also play peek-a-boo over the couch with the other pups. I’m tall enough to jump the couch and they aren’t. BUT I still like to play so I put my front paws and my head over the edge and peek to see if they are still there. Those silly dogs are always waiting and so confused! All that cuteness keeps me out of trouble too! Oh and people watching on the window-sill is fantastic fun. Did I mention that I might be part cat?
I come to Midwest BREW from another rescue in Michigan and I am a well-mannered, gentle dog. I am still technically a puppy though, so I have lots of energy and like to occasionally chew things for a kind of taste test. My long legs get me into all kinds of unusual trouble too. For example, I give new meaning to counter surfing because I am tall enough to jump on the counters. Yep, you read that correctly. I can get up on counters with no help! I can jump fences and climb trees too, so my foster mama is getting to be a professional in terms of keeping me out of trouble. BUT don’t let that discourage you! I’m learning to listen and I’m super sweet so I know I’ll be a great dog for the right family. I’ll need training because I’m strong and I'm learning to hunt, but I love treats so I think I’ll be easy to work with.
My foster family has 4 other beagle dogs and I love playing with the younger boy. We race, wrestle, and box and really make the humans laugh. I'm also really good about leaving the old, cranky ones alone. I don’t seem to be an alpha. Since I’m bigger, my foster family doesn’t have the right sized crate, so they leave an open crate in the laundry room. The laundry room door is closed at night and when they work so I’m kept out of trouble. I don’t always like it, but I settle down pretty quickly and I even go in the crate when I’m tired of playing and need a nap.
FOSTER NOTE: Arlington is a gorgeous, sweet dog, with a charming AROO and will be the perfect companion for the right family.
