My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

http://www.valleydogs.org/crystal.html -- If you are looking for an active and trustworthy family dog, Crystal is your girl. Crystal was rescued from animal control Nov. 3rd and has transitioned to her foster home perfectly. She is very friendly with all dogs big and small. We have 3 dogs in the home besides Crystal, ranging in size. Her favorite activity is going to the dog park. She runs and plays with all dogs and is very well behaved. Despite her energy and young personality, she knows how to behave around children and is great with our special needs son. I think some dogs can sense when children need the space and gentleness that adults don't always need. She is very submissive with other dogs and will roll onto her back and submit if played with in any rough way at her foster home or at the dog park.

Crystal was very stressed in the pound so she was underweight, but gained the weight very fast. She also does fine in the crate, but we figure the play pen is more comfortable with all of her toys and water. She is 100% potty trained and stays with you off leash at the park or in front of the house. She loves walks, runs and hikes. She has tons of energy due to her breed and age so if you are looking for a long distance running partner or long hiker she would do really well.

On the flip side, Crystal loves lounging on the couches and beds if she is invited up. She is a huge cuddler! Toys and balls are also a must, she plays by herself constantly. Crystal would love to be adopted into a home with another playful dog. She is constantly trying to play with my older dogs and they aren't interested for the most part. She is your typical 1.5-2 year old dog.
