My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there,
My name is Peanut and I am one sweet 5 to 6 year old male Beagle. I am mixed with Basset as you can tell by my short little legs in my pictures. I do have that "text book" tri color Beagle coat.
Let me tell you some more information about me. I have been living with my foster family for a bit over 2 weeks now. They say I am a pleasure to have around. I am extremely friendly and love all people I meet. Actually, when I met the family vet to find out I am 100% healthy, she kept telling foster mom how cute and sweet she thinks I am. She sees a lot of pups there, but I think she was pretty smitten with me.
My foster family has a few pups here. I get along with all of them just fine. They also have this orange hairy little animal they call a cat. I was curious about her the first couple days. Then I figured out she just wants to do her own thing so I leave her alone now. I am not much into playing with toys. I do love to run in the back yard with my foster siblings. Also foster dad loves running after me. I think he likes it more than I do. But my tail wags like crazy and we have a ball chasing each other. I am not a big barker, although you will hear my Beagle AROOOO when we play in the back yard.
I ride fine in the car. I am potty trained. I will let you know when I have to go by going to the back door. I did do the "marking" thing the first few days to let the others know I was here. But I have stopped doing that.
I am not a fan of the crate. The good news is that I have earned the run of the house when foster mom and dad work. I have not touched anything that is not mine. Well, besides that kitchen garbage can. They sure toss some good smelling stuff. Now they remember to close that pantry door and there went my fun. I am not food aggressive, but do get very excited when it is meal time.
I sleep in my doggie bed in foster mom and dad’s room. I do love to be covered by a warm fluffy blanket. I sometime like to sleep under the bed.
You will never lose me in your home because I am always right next to you. In the evening I love sitting on the couch with you. You get up to do anything, I go with you. I did mention earlier I am a big cuddlier. So when you sit on the couch and relax, I am on your lap. Yes, I am a lap dog for sure.
Well that's all for now. I could talk about "me" all day long. To sum "me" all up, I am a happy cuddler that wants love and attention and to belong to my own family. If I sound like a boy you can not live without, contact MW BREW, fill out an application and foster mom can answer any other questions you may have.
Sincerely,
Peanut
