Lilly Pad's Story...
Lilly Pad - 67 pounds of love! Look at that smile and that tells you everything you need to know.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, 3 1/2 years old.

She is wonderful, stays right by your side, wants to sit so close to you and just wants to be your bff. She's very obedient, eager to please and an absolute joy. Fine with other dogs, prefers to get attention from humans but she doesn't mind the dogs.

House trained, no health issues, spayed, current on vaccines, chipped and ready for a new start.

She was surrendered by her previous "owner" after her and another dog got into a fight. We came to find out that both dogs were not fixed and Lilly Pad was in heat. Go figure, hormones raging and things got out of control. All that is behind her now. She is even polite with the horses and the potbelly pig that steals her cookies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly Pad, a Los Angeles Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
