Duke The Shep's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Duke The Shep's Story...
Duke the Shepherd and his litter mate Ace were found as strays early last summer. They were hungry, under weight, filthy and desperate.

A local rescue took them on without a plan and had to put them into boarding immediately which is where they have been sitting since August 2014. Now the rescue has walked away from their outstanding bill and the dogs they vowed to help.

Thankfully the owner of the facility is a friend and he contacted us for help in networking them. They are now fixed, vetted, getting walks & socialization.

Duke is good with other dogs and people of all ages. He's 50 pounds and very intelligent. He is the type of guy that would love a job, agility, patrolling a yard, something to stimulate his mind.

We are guessing he is around 4 years old, young adult, healthy, excited but learning to walk on leash.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke The Shep, a Los Angeles Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
