Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Perfect Puppy! Get the toy box filled.
Meet Renny, an adorable, sweet, 20 pound, Beagle boy who is 4 going on 1, seriously. Renny is living out his puppyhood. He loves to play and loves toys of any kind.
Renny is a very good boy, minds pretty good, is house trained, crate trained. Renny can be high energy, but settles down nicely. Renny is very happy, loves to snuggle and sit with me when I’m watching TV or reading a book, and is usually in the same room as me. Renny loves to play with other dogs and likes cats (I have 2). Because of Renny’s high pitched bark, he would not be good for an apartment.
Renny would make a great walking/running partner because of his high energy, and it would benefit him to wear him out.
Renny’s forever home wishes include:
A family
Another dog, or not. He’s pretty independent, plays with his toys by himself
A fenced yard or not. If you have another dog, a fenced yard would be nice because he loves to run and chase. However, regular trips to the dog park would work too
A crate because he is still very much like a puppy
If you’re looking for a smaller size Beagle, and a puppy, Renny is your boy. He will wag his tail and dance for you when you come home, and yet he’s quiet when in his crate. He’s a very easy dog to have and you can take him with you on errands, etc. because he’s good in the car.
Would you like to meet Renny? We generally attend Petsmart adoption events in Rockford, IL on the third Sunday of each month. However, how meet and greet arrangements could be made. Contact your adoption counselor if you would like to meet him.
