My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam was rescued out of high kill Downey Shelter. He is so sweet despite his horrible beginnings. I believe he was probably a yard dog because when we rescued him he was full of fleas, thin and neglected. He didn't even know how to walk on a leash but after being in foster care, he walks well on a leash, housebroken and just a wonderful loving dog. He is still timid but warms up quickly when he feels save. Sam is 8 lbs, around 5 y.o. maybe a Chihuahua/beagle/rat terrier mix.
