Here's what the humans have to say about me:
http://www.valleydogs.org/cp_zooey.html -- Hi! My name is Zooey. I am a 40lb medium sized female German Shepherd mix. My rescuer/sister found me 2 weeks ago during a hot day by her front gate. I was so happy she stopped and put me in her car and gave me some water that I have been by her side ever since.
I’m very sweet and affectionate and a little shy. I love attention and kisses and pets. I don’t chase cats and I love kids. I get along with other dogs-I am a submissive female and get along with my foster brother who is a 100lb male lab!
I know how to sit and am housebroken. My favorite past time is sitting at my owners feet and dozing on the cool tile floor. I’m a very sweet girl and my owner is very sad that she can’t keep me, but she is a full time student and never home so she can’t keep me. I’m a young adult spayed female with all my shots and I was just recently given a bath and a haircut. I don’t require regular grooming-my rescuer just wanted to treat me well.
I am quiet, gentle and well behaved. I can be playful and a good girl on walks if you like to get exercise. You will walk me-not the other way around! If you are looking for a sweet gentle girl that just wants to be loved please come get me!
