This happy and sweet young pup is Jackson, a 10 month old lab mix that is dreaming of a great home of his own. Jackson came to us from our Newark facility after he was found as a stray. Jackson was still a young pup when he was first found, and we can't imagine how someone could lose this darling little guy. Jackson has a bit of an odd situation going on in his nether-region. First, he does not have a tail, but he wiggles the little nub that he has like crazy when he sees one of his new friends. Second, he has a congenital urethral deformity. He was born with mostly male parts, but they are not functional. He urinates via another area, like a female. All this means is that he is more prone to urinary tract infections, but everything else about him is normal and he does not have any special needs. Jackson doesn't even realize that anything is amiss and he is just a normal, healthy, fun-loving puppy. Jackson is truly a sweetheart and to know him is to love him. He is very friendly, outgoing, and lovable, and he is very well behaved. He sits nicely when asked and is very gentle with everything that he does. He even seems to like other dogs and he has plenty of playful, puppy spunk to keep you active. Jackson is ready to meet some potential families that will give him the loving, caring home that he has yet to experience. File#24792 5/29/15
