Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sammy is a 12-year-old Shepherd-Rottweiler mix looking for her forever home. Sammy came to helping paws when her mother passed away at the age of 90. She is a very sweet girl that gets along well with everyone. She is currently living with two kittens, a cat, two dogs and human children, ages seven and ten. Sammy has some health issues, so she is looking for a place to live out her remaining years as a permanent foster. She has a fatty tumor on her side which does not cause her any discomfort and she has some skin issues - probably due to allergies. She is 100% house trained and crate trained. She does not need to be in a crate at all during the day as she is not destructive whatsoever. Sammy was an only dog for many years so does get a little grumpy around the food bowls with other dogs. She loves to go on car rides and would make an excellent companion for anyone! If you can provide a loving, permanent foster home for Sammy, Helping Paws will pay all of the expenses.
