Berlin's Story...
Berlin is a beautiful 3 - 4 month old calico (brown tabby with white and orange) girl. She loves to be petted and shows her appreciation by purring up a storm. She enjoys playing, particularly with her toy mouse. She does well with other cats and would likely do fine with a dog, although her exposure to dogs has been limited so far.

Berlin is still gaining confidence in meeting new people. She is a bit shy at first, but will warm up quickly with quiet and loving interaction. She will do best in a home with older children. Foster to adopt is an option.

Adoption fee is a minimum $75 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative.

Discounted adoption fee if two kittens or cats are adopted together, $130 for a pair.

Brief screening questionaire and contract apply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Berlin, a Lombard Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
