Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We are still waiting for our new friend Hunter to have his big breakthrough and come out of his little shell......we know he'll get there, it will just take time. Hunter came to us as a lost and lonely stray that was found in rural neighborhood. He may have been a dog that someone wanted for hunting and he didn't make the grade, or he may have just become lost, we'll never know, but Hunter is glad to be safe and sound now. He is very shy, quiet, and reserved, and just wants to be comforted. This beautiful beagle is about 6 years old and he is very well behaved. He is gentle and mannerly, and would be such a loyal and loving companion for some caring person. Hunter loosens up when he is out for a walk and relaxes quite a bit. He wags his tail, enjoys checking out his surroundings, but has yet to run and play. He even had a spa day recently and was the perfect gentleman for it. Hunter will need a commotion free home where he can take his time to get settled in. He will also need a home with no young children, but would benefit from going to a home with another well behaved dog. Hunter is hoping to meet his special someone that will spoil him and love him, and never let him feel afraid again. File#25634 10/13/15
