Casey is an adorable little girl who was rescued from the dreaded euthanasia list from the NYC ACC by Amsterdog. She made her way to a wonderful foster home, but is now looking for place to call her forever home. At 6 years old, this lil 20 pounder is spry, great on leash, and has lots of love to give!
From Casey: Hi there, my name is Casey, and I'm a white poodle who was rescued from the Brooklyn acc by Amsterdog! When my foster mom picked me up I was feeling very sick, but she nursed me back to health and in a bit I was feeling great. My favorite things to do are eat, take walks, cuddle, and hang out. I like some cats and other dogs. Sometimes when I see people I don't know,I bark and try to look tough in order to protect me and my foster mom, but I'm only 20 lbs and actually a sweetie once I get to know someone. I am very very smart, and know how pee and poo on my papers, and I also know some verbal commands. I loveeee sleeping on the bed with my foster mom, and will lay down right next to you for a nap. I'm a very happy little girl and will walk with you calmly on a leash and go to the bathroom outside perfectly. I talk a lot in my own language, and will grumble if I am upset. I will also make adorable doggy purrs like a cat when I'm happy!
I would do best in a home with no young children.
