My story

My name is Merlin, and I love doing dog stuff… Sniffing, eating, cuddling, laying around, barking (sometimes), and being outside. Every morning, I sit close to my foster humans until they give me a good hug - I'm very persistent! - and then I am content and go back to bed.

I'm a personable guy, easygoing, relaxed, and quite adorable. My foster family loves my hugs and cuddly nature, and they also love that I am respectful of their furniture and that I sleep well in my crate overnight! At first I had some accidents, but after learning about my foster house rules, I've only had a few accidents since…I'm getting the hang of it. I have found I am at my best when I have a daily routine and a backyard.

I'm a gentle giant who will make a wonderful furever companion to a family who loves doing stuff dogs like to do, like going for walks, hanging out in the yard, and hugging. I'm a laid back, affectionate guy who will provide you with the perfect dose of love and companionship!
