Misty's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Misty's Story...
Domestic Shorthair, grey, spayed female, 8 pounds, DOB: 01/14/2012. This petite, charcoal green eyed beauty is super friendly and loves to cuddle when you are sitting or relaxing. She will come and find you when she wants to hang out, be held and loved on. Misty enjoys looking out the windows while the birds play and laying in sunbeams. She is very curious about her environment and likes to bat toys around (and vocalize to get clients in our Clinic Lobby to pick her up or engage her). She seems to be fine around other cats but does not really care for dogs. She will be at your side while you are eating lunch and will wait patiently nearby. She has an old eye injury that does not bother her in the least. If you are interested in meeting Misty and have room in your home for a real sweetheart, stop by Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic, Alpharetta, GA, phone: 770-475-8272.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misty, a Alpharetta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
